So, this last working road tip took me to Alabama, and there was a big box "bass" store close by. weekends, for stress relief and retail therapy, i'd make the trip to redneck mecca and spend it browsing thru the shelves.

came across a new style of jig head and weight system designed by south east tackle legend Lonny Stanley called the wedge head.

emailing back and forth i learned that he designed it for heavy cover bassing. am thinking it will also work in the thicker kelp beds and forests some of you fish for rockfish and lings in.

i think he needs a west coast dealer too if anyone is interested.
