In addition to the lump of cold I got for Christmas in Denver, my wife let me go to Bass Pro Shop to shop for a bit. Bought surprisingly little, but I did get some of these Lil doohickeys.

They add a good bit of bulk, but MAN it's nice be able to put more than one lure in a box (bag) without the ensuing war to get one out.  I wouldn't put one on a wet hook though, as it'd probably turn to rust in short order. I'd seen them before, but never bothered. One size fits all so it should do nicely on a kwikfish.

At $3.50 for 30 its a bit more than a chunk of pool noodle that could do the same thing. But not by much.

Those look like they will work nicely.

How large of a hook will they cover?

Brilliant!

I once had a treble hook from a large spinner stuck deep under my skin on my back between my shoulder blades while camping in the Wasatch mountains in my younger years. I couldn't reach it or even see. It only took my girlfriend 40 minutes to pull it through, clip it, and back it out. OUCH!!!

Just gotta remember to remove them before you cast, or you'll be wondering how come you keep missing strikes.  ::)
