Has anybody fished blackmouth on seattle side of area 10?  Trying to decide if I want to go after some cuts tomorrow on lake washington or try something different.  I have only fished salmon during the summer but the idea that they may be there is inticing.  Any thoughts?

H Zack, you have the exact same burning question I've had on my mind? In fact, I'm planning on fishing both the last weekend of the month. Depending on the weather, I want to hit one on Saturday and the other on Sunday.

Do you want to join me? I'm going to try out Richmond beach for BM.

I think jigging for the black mouth is the way to go. I started using this technique last time out and for this relatively newbie to kayak fishing it was the way to go. Its a no fuss no muss method:)

I hear read label cut plug hearing behind a small flasher works well in about 25 feet of water on the lakes. or trolling a small hoochie or wedding ring is supposed to work. Fish the South end of lk WA in front of the Boeing plant. This is all stuff I've just read.

I often see fly fisherman casting for cuts across the pebble flats on the north side of Richmond Beach Park.
