I am curious to know if any of you would worry about this.

I can't imagine that this little bit of warping could affect performance on a displacement hull.  But, this is a brand new and expensive ride.  None of the seven tupperware kayaks that I or my family have owned for the last 10 years have anything similar and they have been abused.

I noticed this shortly after I got it home, and I had read all the suggestions and did not leave it sitting on its hull.

I also noticed that it looks like the mold was a little misaligned on the bow.

So -  I am looking for suggestions.  Should I wait and see if it gets worse?

Am I better off bugging the guys at Next Adventure now just in case it gets worse?

I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

The hull distortion is probally due over tightening straps on your racks when transporting or during storage.  Not sure about the mold misalignment probally not a big deal.  My kayak developed hull distortion were it sits on my trailer from tightening  my straps to tight.  I followed the instructions in this video I've included in the link bellow.

The little edge on the bow is nothing to worry about.  It's like that on all of them.  The hull deformation on the bottom isn't a problem either.  It looks like it might have leaned against something while it was standing up on one end or it might have come from what yaksurf mentioned.  I imagine if you were to take a hair dryer on high to it or set it in the sun it should pop right out.

Same as the other guys. New doesn't mean flawless. Misalignment, no problem per your pic. Hulls usually distort from overtight strap downs on roof rack or Wheelez, especially on a warm day. A lot of times they will pop back in place on their own. If not, follow that video method in the post above. Now, get to rigging and use the tons of posts for
your guidelines. Tip: get in your yak in the water and visulize where you want to place things always keeping in mind where your legs and arms will be when peddaling/paddling. Use the riggin/drilling forum and it's always the 1st hole drilled that's the tough one.
