Just looked at Westport and Monday @ noon swell is 3.5 ft. at 16 seconds with only a 4 mph wind.By 6 pm it only goes to 4.5 ft with the same gentle wind.
Sounds like I need to go to Ocean Shores again. Will be checking the tides next just to see where they will be.
10:07 am low tide of 1.7 ft--high tide is at 4:32 rising to 7.5 ft with the same gentle wind.
I never looked at a tide book when Lee,Marie and JPCrowley and I went out on superbowl Sunday. But this sounds pretty good to me.I will be out there.

Any Washington folk want to try it ?
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I was getting all excited too, but it seems to be deteriorating. MSW says 18 mph from the S at Otter Rock.

Maybe in the afternoon, i'm gonna work the early shift..

And i forgot the usual caveat, it's a ways out and can/will change and probably for the worst.

I'd love to get out there if we get lucky and it stays doable.

Where you gonna go if it stays doable?

launch early to get a few hours in before the wind comes in...
