Hello. I did a demo in a 13 Revo and it felt great. It seemed quieter than an Outback, could that be true ? Anyway, I was thinking of how to attach a rod holder, Could I use a flat panel like on the ProAngler and set holders etc on that. It looks like I could mount a flat surface and then install rod holder etc to the flat panel. Am I wrong ? Also I met a guy that put a Scotty mount right in the side pouch pocket that looked like a nice place to put one also. Where do you guys in Revos put your rod holders..... etc

You can mount a rod holder in the mast tube, or drill a hole and install a rod holder wherever you can fit it.  Just one thing, make sure that spot will be comfortable and not interfere with anything BEFORE you drill.  :))

I have one in my mast tube.  It is not the best to fish with but it has been invaluable for rigging because I set my rod in it and can change lures etc while peddling.  I have a few Yak Attack gear tracks but I am not sure where I am going to mount them yet.  I plan on taping one to my kayak and playing with it before I do any drilling.

I used my mast hole for a RAM FF mount, and put a flush Scotty receiver on both sides.

Revo rigging thread, heavy on the pictures.  This should give you a few ideas to play with.

Thanks INSAYN, ya beat me to it.  I'm going to update this thread shortly.  I've moved some stuff around and made some adjustments.  Mainly, I moved my forward RAM Revolution Rod holder even more forward and relocated my GPS mount so I can hang my legs off both sides now.  I'm also probably going to ditch the Scotty mount rod holder right behind the seat.  It seemed like a good idea, but it makes accessing the rear gear well a P.I.T.A..

Yes!  Updates please, before I start putting holes in mine!  Right now I'm just going to be trolling by hand.  I have my fishfinder mounted in the mast tube and completely removeable.  The Engagement doesn't have a single hole drilling in her yet.   ;D

Bottom of the page for links to various Revo modifications.  I am very seriously considering replacing my bar with Yak Attack Tracs.

I really like the bow lacing.  The position of the padeyes is perfect for mounting a YakCatch3 fish bag.
I'm particularly proud of the Scotty bailing pump mount.

Ditto -- I just took delivery on a Revo 13 today, and need to go to school on this while I still have some few dollars left in the bank.
