There were 45 for 2011 AOTY.  Hard to say for 2012, but I wouldn't be surprised by 60.

I can honestly say that I am trying my hardest to put in as much OT as possible so I may make the 2012 round, I may have to hook up with someone for a carpool but with a yak that was just coined as "the aircraft carrier" I might be looking for a long while

I hear ya Murf.  The thing is a beast.  Don't think my rack, even reinforced, would hold up to 2 PA's being on top for the ride.  Hope to see ya out there though!!!!

No worries.  One more and I think the gas will be affordable.

I hope to make it again this year, do some fishing and more photography also. Mom died in January and dad has cancer he is fighting. I need to make sure my dad n sister are doing ok first. I could use a good vacation.

Remember the rain n puddles last year? Now is a good time to Re-treat your tents for water repellancy and get something to keep the tent from soaking up the floor full of water.

I'm planning on making it from Vancouver. Are we still waiting for official sign up instructions?

It would appear so.

The meeting Spot mentioned in the other thread with the Depoe Bay City Council was yesterday.  Once they get approval there (which sounded like it would be easy) I think they were intending to touch base with the Coasties and get their buy in as well.  Then I hope we'll get an announcement with offical information.
