REI 20% off members coupon (good for GoPro or Kokatat drysuit)

Hey all,

Just an FYI. I checked with REI and you can use the 20% off members discount coupon on a GoPro camera or on a drysuit (but not on kayaks). I am sorely tempted. We have 2 memberships and I used my first coupon on a NRS co-pilot knife. I am not sure I can really justify spending the money on the camera or the drysuit, but I have a few weeks to decide.

I used one on a Big Agnes 15 degree double sleeping bag.  I used the other on a new monkey man fleece jacket from REI-outlet. 

Those NRS knives are pretty sweet.

Lee, you're going to love that sleeping bag.   I picked up the Big Agnes Encampent 15 degree single and have used it twice now at the coast. 
I sleep with minimal clothing as I am natural warm, but as soon as I zip that bag shut it gets toasty toasty warm inside. 
I picked up a second one for my son, daughter, or wife to use, and will eventually get two more. 

I picked up the double cause SLF is cold natured.  I too am always hot in a sleeping bag, but you gotta take one for the team.  Online reviews were all 5/5 stars except from one special person who gave it a 2/5.  Apparently he bought it for just him and couldn't keep the big empty bag warm.  DURP.

REI has this NRS splash jacket pretty well priced. Plus the 20% off coupon it's REALLY well priced. Does anyone have one like this that can give some imput?

+1.  I wear the dry suit even in the summer. I love the security of the dry suit. I have also worn it for wade fishing along with wading boots in the fall.  Nice and toasty warm.

The Kokatat that REI has is the Goretex model that is 915. This gets reduced to 732. This is still more than the Kokatat super nova suit at full price(~500) or a Stohlquist suit. I am not sure what you get for twice the money. I would hate to buy it and never really need it since I already have waders and a paddling jacket.

Bummer.  I have a Super Nova and agree that it is enough.  REI has carried the Super Nova in the past - I tried one on there a few years back.  Maybe you answered your own question.  Forget the 20% off coupon and just get the Super Nova or Stohlquist somewhere else.
