I have a 2008 Hobie Adventure Kayak for sell. It's the fastest model in the Hobie fleet. Very stable, Comfortable, and fast. Perfect for fishing and long kayak tours. With a lot of features. And in Great Condition. Lightly Used. No damage( Kayak or Mirage drive). I always stored it in the garage. Look like New. It includes the Mirage drive peddle system, Seat, homemade cart, small hobie seat pack with 2 water bottles, paddle, and Mirage cassette plug. Tons of Storage Too. A complete package. Unfortunately Must sell. You won't be disappointed. Retails at $2000 asking $1450. You can call me anytime at 1-425-512-9624

Hmmm? Not certain about the user name, but okay. At least its not, "Bent Over" Which is something most of us would like to avoid, dealing with a new name that just pops up out of nowhere, with a smoking "hot" deal to offer.
And before any of us got to know you.

Don't really want to join the dogpile but feel the need to inform the seller a "2008 Adventure" didn't retail for 2k.... more like $1700.

Also, some major changes have been made and should be factored into the asking price.... unless you sold it somewhere people didn't know these things. ::)

Guys. Give Blowjib a break. I fished with him and his cousin,Killfish, last Butt season and he is a good guy. He's trying to sell this Adventure for a friend who moved out of state and when he says its in great shape, it probably is. Give him a call, check the yak out and see for yourself. Don't deride the guy with a BS offer of $300.

Newbies that make their first post something in the classified section, without pics, and no followup tend to be suspect.
Thanks Fishnut for speaking up for him.

It's all good, the mods let it slide if an item will be put to good use by somebody on the board. Of course it's better when you have someone who can vouch for you.

It has a lot of extras for a looted kayak, so I didn't think that was the case. I posted up a while back how you can determine when a Hobie was manufactured by the hull ID number, but I can't remember which numbers = the date anymore.

I thought would be fun to get people bidding.

Guess that didn't work.

Sorry.

Thanks guys. The BlowJib is a young family guy into his 1st home and that and family take precedence over alot of internet posting. He's been looking ocassionaly at the site but types like a snail and is not enamored by the process. He does own a 2010 or '11
Adventure but also was given an old sailboat he's restoring. One thing I can say is he
can't fish for s..t. KIDDIN' ;D He did catch the largest Sculpin I've ever seen on our Butt
trip to Partridge Bank last year(5 mile pedal just to get to the Bank). He's also posted on Craig's List so if interested, jump on it 'cause it will be gone soon. Once again,THANKS.

Guys, why the animosity?  The last thing I'd like to see happen is a newbie get run off because a bunch of guys over-reacted and ran him off.   :'(

If you're not interested in the kayak, why comment?  If you are, I'm sure you'll do your homework and figure out what is best for yourself.

Welcome Blowjib.  These guys are all bark and no bite.  INSAYN sleeps with a teddy bear, Lee is scared of the rain, And CIT wears pink booties.  All softies at heart I tell ya.   :-*

My bad, post removed. It looked like he was just using the site to sell his yak. Good luck with the sale.

Warn him?  About me?  Silly talk. My pm-ing habit only goes active in the evening, when the port wine takes over and I get chatty.  I, for one, commend his choice of user names.  I would be honored to share a Natty with the guy.  Welcome aboard, Blowjib.  I look forward to some pics of the sailboat project.
