Looks fun. Wish I lived closer to the "true" salt. Hope to at least get down for ORC. Thanks for the pics.

OK, here's my first newbie kayak video.  It's from last Saturday at PC.  In true newbie form there is dorkiness throughout, including bike helmet, wetsuit, wrong music, and my favorite, a shrimp fly to my head.  Glad I was wearing neorprene.  Enjoy!

Since you were already critiquing, want a tip?  When you were working your way out through the surfzone, you were working way too hard on pulling your stroke.  You should be pushing with your off hand just as much as you are pulling with your stroking hand.  Try it, it will make a world of difference.

And oh ... avoid hooks to the head!!  >:D

Cool video, Kyle!  I see you discovered one of the reasons I hate using shrimp flies - they hang up on damn near everything!!   :D

Allen, thanks for the paddling advice, I'll try that.  Luckily the hook never found my scalp, so no damage done.  I think my son put the apple sticker there.  As you can see by my setup, they obviously aren't sponsoring me. :banjo:

That's a great video. Does Vimeo still allow you to upload your own music?
