The promise of 70 degrees and sunny with no wind looked a lot better than what Neah Bay's unpredictability showed, so we took a trip to Eagle Island State Park.  All told we probably did 12 miles today.  Tried a little fishing, but nothing but little sole were around.  Plenty of harbor seals were out, and we saw 3 pods of dolphins.  Absolutely beautiful out on the water today.

   Hey Lee,
I'm not sure where.Eagle Island is, help a guy out......That water looks soooo  calm.Too bad you didn't find some fishes.Keep at it and they will come.
I come back to Washington on Tuesday and might have the whole month of May off.If that does happen..........we'll have to go get some fish.Stay tuned.........
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

We really only fished for about 30 minutes.  Mostly it was a nice day in the sun and a good opportunity to get in some conditioning for the Sucia crossing.
