 This is not a kokanee!( what i was targeting). This guy bit a hootchie in open water and took me for a little ride for 15- 20 mins. Caught on my very light koke set-up.When I finally got him to the surface,I figured there was no way to get him in that little net- tried to take a picture..not happening.Got him in though,didnt know what to do with him,nothing to measure with,was kinda glad to get those teeth out of my lap! swam away nicely after the cockpit wrestling match. ;D

Nice catch.  Cool photos.   Really like the one in the Koke net.  To me they seem more exotic than other non native PNW species.

Thanks ,Hop. Shallow...fish hit while letting out line @ about 25 pulls,no weight.Could only manage 1 koke.The one guy that seemed to be doing better was using green wedding ring ,flasher,corn. Good luck!

Are tiger muskie good eating?  50" MINIMUM!?

They can be tasty.  I  used to do beer battered pike/muskie bites in the midwest. That being said, I have never caught any near that size, so maybe they aren't as good when they get old.

Oh, and their paws are an aphrodisiac. ;)
