The few times I have been out I already know that the relief zipper is worth it. You will have to go to the bathroom! It still sucks with the relief zipper but at least its possible!

I totally get that - relief zipper is a must.  I am wondering about the angler vs non-angler version.  The angler has the cordura across the front, etc.  Seems like it would be a very important addition... but that is only from an "in my head" place... not from experience.

Probably. I'd like to have thicker material on the front of mine. I've hooked myself more than once. How much more is it?

Pay attention to whether you're comparing it to the "regular" SuperNova vs the T3 SuperNova.  The non-T3 one is 2-layer Tropos fabric, whereas the T3 is, go figure, 3-layer Tropos.  The "Angler" version is a T3 SuperNova with the added cordura in the areas you're most likely to hook yourself.  If you're looking at a 2-layer SuperNova vs the Angler, I'd go Angler (and I did when I made the choice).  It will be more durable and more waterproof.

Angler.  Having the added layer on lap in well worth it.  When fishing everything ends up in my lap sooner or later (lingcog, salmon, sturgeon, hooks, weights, etc.) so that extra layer well worth it.  I purchased the Kokatat angler and like it a lot.

The cordura lap is woth the money if you like staying dry.  Without it, you will poke holes in your suit, be it from hooks or fish spines.  Sure kokatat will repair it for free but you'll be without your suit for a period of time.

The Angler is worth the extra. I think.
I have both suits. Recently purchased the Angler. I've had the Non about three years. So its's the older model Non with the metal zippers. In the time I've had the Non it has performed well except the socks have progressively leaked more and more since near month one. Not that the Angler won't but its not leaking now. I do believe the latex at the wrists of the Non is heavier than the Angler. Though more importantly the fabric of the Angler seems to be more durable than the Super. T2 vs T3? But the highlight like others have mentioned is the Cordura coverage. Wow! Let the Lings roll. So far the Cordura is worth much of the price difference. I expect the T3 will be worth the rest. We'll see.

Dry suit ordered. I won't lie, it was hard even though it was a great deal. Now for the life jacket.
