"Unidentified Frying Object" as properly named by Kayakjack from NCKA's.

While taking a nap yesterday after work, I had an epiphany very clearly of what needed to be made to get my Discada taller and no longer eye level to an Oompa Loompa.  So, I got up, threw my metal smoked and weld splattered garage duds on and started throwing sparks.

Went from this:

To this!

Now it comes apart with no tools needed to pack better in the trailer.

I think I'm going to knock the legs down a few inches so I'm not bumping my elbows on it.   ;D

Awesome work.  UFO to lunar lander.  Speaking of which, when you cut the legs down, add some flat plate to the end, so they don't sink into soft surfaces   :)

It's not THAT heavy.   8)

I'll just go to Goodwill and get me three left shoes that don't match, and set each leg down on one.   ;D

Actually 3 flat pieces of wood will suffice, as I want to keep the legs easy to pack up as possible.

Just in time to invade Shelter Cove!  Looks good.  I noticed you got rid of the wind shield any reason?

That's awesome.  Reminds me of my mexican buddies and how they loved to cook on the discs that get pulled behind tractors.

Awesome work Craig!  Have you considered a wind screen around the burner for windy days?

Wind? Who frys in the wind?  ;)

Actually, due to time I'm going to use aluminum foil at the GS6.
Long term it will be aluminum diamond plate.

Did you make the disk yourself from a plow blade?  I have been keeping my eye open for a disc with no hole. Not too many farm stores out my way.

Good job on the burner stand! Keep the updates coming.

That thing is freakin' awesome! I'm wondering if I could make a rocket stove out of something like that? Hmmmm...

I went to Fisher Implement in Cornelius, Or to see about ordering a 24" disk with or without a hole.
Very friendly guy behind the counter took me out back to the shop and showed me a 24" disk with a hole in it.
He said they don't get them in very often, but do order them in on occasion and this particular one was ordered a week prior by someone and was intending to make some kind of BBQ with it.  I asked him fryer, maybe?  Yeah that!  Me too, can I have this one?  Sure, we can just order another for him.  $60 later I was outta there.

One thing to note when you do get a hold of one, any welding you do on it must be done with the metal cherry red where you plan to put down a weld bead.
