Kokannee on AL isn't producing the numbers this year, but they are BIG fish. Also, I recorded this vid in 1080p, but I couldn't fig out a way to load it as an HD vid on you tube  ??? Any of you video gurus have any advice?

I think Vimeo still allows 1080 uploads but I haven't tried it yet.

Great vid! Im pretty sure I've uploaded 1080 in the past on YouTube , but still prefer 720. Even 720 can be still be too slow for some pp computers, but it's there in 720 if the want it. I think most videos usually open at 480 or 320, but can still can be upgraded if someone has faster speeds.
Awesome vid though!

Nice video, I like the 2 rod setup.  Was the one on the left using a diver or something?  the tip is going straight down.

As to posting videos, what is the preferred site of you all?   youtube or vimeo?  I need to learn now that i have the go pro.

Thanks for the feedback! Not sure which was more fun, catching the fish or making the vid! The pole on the left was clipped to my down rigger, and the one on the right was just flat lining.

Noticing a pattern on the AL kokes - both of us nailed 'big' ones trolling at the surface.  Mine hit the good old Vibrax Blue fox in silver/blue with no flasher.

I think koke's are pretty scattered in most the high lakes around here until water levels and temps stabilize. Kayak Kokanee are my pet project this year......

Very cool video.

Luhr Jenson 000 dodger, 10-14'' leader, the smallest size hoochie, 2 size 4 or 6 octopus hooks, and a gulp maggot on the trailing hook. Troll speed between 1-1.5 mph. I get most of my koks on the DR side. Look for the schools on your FF and set your DR roughly 10' above them.

That fish went 15.5 and FAT. See my AOTY profile for a better pic of him.
