All the attacks down south make me wonder if there are more Landlords down there or just more yak fisherman. I believe these were a couple of my NCKA brothers.

I honestly would probably not kayak fish down south, at least not in the ocean.

Wow! These seem to be getting more frequent, if not more freaky. Yes, I think its a combination of both factors. More yak anglers all the time. Some researchers have suggested that we are seeing an increase in the GWS population off the West coast.

The danger is real, but the only time i think about it is sitting in front of computer.

Need to get some of this stuff...

Let's see; paddling around with a bunch of dead fish, maybe leaking blood through the scupper holes, wonder why it might attract sharks?

Large object traveling at the surface, about the size of a sea lion, is probably more like it. They hit surfers too and they don't generally leak fish blood :)

By all means, take your time with that rope ladder Robin. Batman is only being bitten by a shark.

Yeah, a 6' surfer on a 6' surfboard with arms and legs dangling silhouetted against the sky may look like a 6' sea lion to a shark, a 12' kayak look like a sea lion? I don't think so. Sharks can smell blood in the water more than a mile away(try Google if you don't believe me), that's a lot farther than they can see. I've surfed all my life and seen plenty of sharks, same with kayak fishing; makos, blues, threshers, reef sharks, leopard sharks and even a small great white(about 10'). Animals you have to use caution around but not be afraid of.
You put blood in the ocean water just about anywhere, you're going to attract something with teeth.

Sure. However, in my opinion, a  12' kayak would be similar to a a male Stellar (about 10 feet) or an elephant seal (14-16 feet). I doubt the landlords are busting out measuring sticks. If it moves they can generally eat it.
