So now that i'll be taking videos of my outdoor activities I'd like to know your preffered method of posting online.

What websites do you use?  What are the pros and cons?

Thanks in advance.

I prefer my YouTube channel to my Vimeo channel but I am more comfortable with YouTube (channels make it easier to manage videos). It also links up well with my blog which is through Google Blogger. I also believe people are more familiar with YouTube than Vimeo so it's easier when you want to share your videos. However, if you are uploading long videos, Vimeo seems a better choice.

IMO they're pretty similar except for a few places. Most importantly music. If you want to add music to a video YouTube will pull it if not properly licensed and leave you video silenced. There are some tracks that are available for sale and will leave it on IF there's a link to buy it available. The upload process on YouTube is a little cumbersome compared to Vimeo but if you get a Vimeo plus account it's super fast. Vimeo is a little more customizable and works well across different browsers. Vimeo also is now supported on mobile devices too. That's my 2 cents but search "Vimeo vs YouTube" and you'll get a lot of info.

I decided to try out YouTube.  Here is my first video upload.  It's simple but I am still learning.

Nice catch there Justin...always liked the Alman Bros. too.

Looks like you might want to work on the picture taking a little. Thanks for the giggle.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
