How sad is that... I'm in my yak and I have time to post. Blasted fish won't bite. But, while I am naturally a pessimist, I find that I am always thinking I will have a fish on the next cast or in the next couple minutes when trolling... Honestly, I like that feeling of happy expectation.

:banjo :banjo: Waaa....., can I relate!!!! Just spent two hours dragging an anchovey and no fish, but I had one good pull-down. I'm a great fisherman, but a poor catcher always living on the memory of the ones that didn't get away. Halibut!!  WATCH OUT!!!!

Whew!!! Thought it was just me.
Not a single bite at Hagg on 6/2 for the few hours I attempted.

I am a pretty confident angler, too!
Confident that any bites I get, are purely by accident.  :-\

I had a decent day of it on 6/2.  But I am in INSAYN's accidental camp.  And most of mine were trout fresh off the stocking truck.

Moon being the cause of the tides it can effect the salt for sure, rumor has it the extra light can help fish with nightime feeding, not sure about this but it sort of makes sense.  Last time I fished on the big moon weekend was not too good, fish  were around but not too interested in my offerings.  Persuaded a few Ling cod but they are always up for another meal it seems.
