Good deal on a good basic set up. I have this radio and have beat on it pretty well without any issues.

How long does the battery last, on average, for a full charge?

Probably depends how much you use it, but probably 12-16 hours. I'm used it for two days on one charge.

That's the one I got. It's mostly plastic and thought it'd get messed up fast but is doing great after a year of use. That's a good buy!

So now that you're squared away on the radio, tell us a bit about the kayak angling scene in Korea!

There's some decent bass fishing, haven't been in the salt.

Just a shad, they were running up Deer Creek back in Maryland...when I was stationed there.

Howdee, Cowpokey! Love your handle (nickname) and welcome to NWKA. Looking forward to seeing photos of your kayak and hearing about your fishing exploits. When will you be coming to visit the great Pacific Northwest so we can take you out for some great fishing?

Now that the thread is sufficiently highjacked,  :laughing6: sorry 'bout that.  Thanks for the welcome.  I only have my whitewater boat right now, which sucks to fish from.  I'm hoping to get a JK Cuda as my next fishing yak, hopefully soon...but getting one shipped here may be tough...
