I haven't been around here for almost two years but maybe a couple of you guys remember heading out to PC with me a couple of times in the past.  I am in Astoria again straight over from GA.  I have a cousin who is coming out to visit during his break from school and I want to get a little fishing in.  Everything looks good for PC on friday the 15th, and we will likely be there for that.  I was hoping to add some more fishing to the trip.  I do some fishing on the North Fork Nehalem for cutties but not much else in the freshwater.  Leaving the yaks behind if necessary, anyone know some good steelhead, slamon or cutthroat fishing in my area this time of year? (no funds to charter at the mouth of the Columbia)

Man, I would love to get down there for that!  I really have to keep it around Astoria the rest of the weekend because of the rest of my folks out here visiting.  Glad the weather is (so far) looking to work out for the tourney.

Good to be back, Jeff. We'll have to get back out to the salt sometime soon.

Nice to see you back in this neck of the woods.  Will you be back out on the boats again?

I am back on the boats. All the debris washing up in the last bit has me a little anxious about it as well.
