True, but look at end-of-day Saturday and Sunday's forecast.  Don't count your rockfish yet.  If that shows up early it could make things a bit more sporty.   >:D

Magic seaweed doesn't combined the multiple swells on their front page (a huge PITA imho). Take a look at the NOAA forecast, which are far more reliable in my humble opinion

NOAA forecasts for fri/sat:

Quote
Local

Friday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NNW 7 to 12 kt in the afternoon. Patchy fog before 11am. WNW swell 4 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NNW 8 to 13 kt in the morning. Mostly cloudy. W swell 4 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Area

Fri...NE wind 5 to 10 kt...backing to N in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 ft. W swell 4 ft...shifting to the SW in the afternoon.

Sat...N wind 5 to 10 kt...becoming NW 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 3 ft. W swell 4 ft.
