No worries. Hope the lady gets better soon. She's got a rough injury so the support is well needed. Let's get out there someday.

Weather still looks doable so will hit it up tomorrow & post pics.

Z,

You mean I stayed up late waiting for your big AOTY fishing report just to find out you slept in late?

I guess I'm still tied for first.

How was caucusing?

Sorry for the lost time buddy. Caucusing was awesome! All I've done in the past was voting in primaries but the caucus is a really engaging process that brings decision making to life. Cali and all the other states needs to switch.

Sorry CBY... we'll have to annotate that downrigger clause.. :D

Weather permitting I'll give it another shot Wed. Hope to live up to your guys expectations.

Well the good news is the new alarm clock works like a charm.. bad news no fish on the end of the hook. Was a beautiful morning w/ only some puffy clouds hanging around.

I trolled all kinds of stuff, needlefish, Croc's, Cleo's, and even a crankbait but no takers. Hooked up the downrigger to try to make sure and get my gear down to where the fish were but to no avail.

It was an awesome day though. A ton of sun and and the wind cut out completely. No other boats on the water except for a float plane... I want one of those.. ;D

Saw a bunch of fish on the FF but for some reason I had no takers. Guessing the bright light all of a sudden could have something to do with it. :dontknow: Anyway, enjoyed the sun!!! :sunny: and had a nice paddle.

Bummer, Z.

My youngest and I will be over this weekend, and the weather forecast is looking stellar. Anybody interested in getting out?

Looks like you picked a good day to go out at least. Seems we had similar conditions, lots of fish showing, but no biting..

You'll get em next time.

J and I are good for Sunday, too. Should probably keep the exposure minimal, with her in the boat. Sure wish we could target salmon, though. I've been hearing of great reports from the N Sound.

I've been socked with work and will be hammering to get out here this afternoon. I'll PM my cell #.

Pisco Our you doing the salmon derby in discovery bay? I would try if I can get out but have some obligations. Its a 3 day event starts Sat to monday. I may try just to get out to fish and not derby it.

Thanks buddy, got it. Yeah, the wind on the sound has been tough for the last few months. Frothy to say the least. Weather channel is Sunday 56 & sunny w/ 4-6 mph winds though. A lake w/ some tree cover would make it a warm day for sure. Ideas?
