I've been doing some intel and heard that the trout fishing in lake Washington has been doing well. Also been really wanting to get some more experience w/ the downrigger. Not sure whether to try Sat or Sun but for right now I'll leave it to the day w/ the best weather. I do have my dry gear ready though so ready to mix it up no matter what.

If anyone's down let's do this!

***EDIT***

Most importantly Saturday is caucus day but also another tattoo so it will have to be Sunday for me. Hope the weather is good.

Get out there and caucus on Saturday people. Only takes about an hour.
Here's links for finding your nearest caucus location:

Hmm, sounds like I have until Sunday if I want first blood.  I was going to sneak out on Friday to try my hand at some steelhead bank fishing if the rivers are right, but that won't earn me any AOTY points.

As for primaries, I have until May 20th so no conflicts there.  That's right, we're something like the fifth from last when it comes to primaries.

Good luck.

Z-

At this time of the year, you'll probably do best on the trout running shallow. I doubt you'll need a downrigger, unless you just want to play with it. Longlining a plug or spoon should do the trick.

Maybe I'll drag my boat out on to the ice on Saturday >:D- I'm having an icefishing party, anyways.

Zee -

Maybe a bit personal, but I think you've mentioned getting ink somewhere else here on the board......  What do have adorning your body?  I am a fellow collector of body art.  My brother has a shop in Pennsylvania.  Where do you go for your work in Seattle?

I have tried that a few times, but I never seem to get off the water before about 12:30.   Good luck.

No doubt. ;) I have to caucus at 1 so w/ driving I'll just make it. Then again if I leave my dry gear on and go straight there I could fish a little longer... :P

Arrggg ... the girlfriend is still in a lot of pain and mostly immobile.  So I think it's best that I don't go out tomorrow morning.  Sorry about that Z.
