I was embarrassed to post them in AOTY, but points is points.  I didn't post a couple small ones last year and it caused me to finish with less than 10 points.  The small mouth will be easy to upgrade on the Willamette River.  He was a surprise. I thought it was a trout at first until I got him close.

Here is the video run-down.  Youtube wouldn't let me post it because of copyright crap.  The stupid thing is that it was a free download that I had permission to use as long as attribution was made to the artist.  So this is from my vimeo account.  To watch it in HD you need to click on the HD button and go to Vimeo.

I have to apologize guys, there was a last minute time and location change driven by some external influences...  You'll know what I'm talking about next week.   ;D

bsteves and his son joined me and my youngest for some great father and son time and marginal perch fishing.  I texted TxPaddler about the changes but, unfortunately, he didn't get it in time.

For the 1st time since he was 2, my youngest failed to outfish me!  I managed one more perch than him..... though his were larger....  #$%^&* kids!

     Craig,
That video was absolutely hilarious ,And the polka music was perfect. As I was watching it I was cracking up--causing my wife to throw some real weird looks my way.Good job.....
By the way, that 1st bass wasn't too aweful small---but I gotta say a few of the others would hardly qualify as bait. Thanks for sharing with us.That took a pair.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Craig, that video was awesome!   I love the TOO BIG of pole for the bait you were catching.  It's almost like polar opposite of Barbie pole fishing for big bottom fish.  :icon_thumright:

Sadly, that is not what I was going for.  My goal was some big fat trout.  I was going to bring the Batman pole, but forgot it along with the other stuff.
