ORC has a Barbie Pole division, so why not?
Kayak fishing?  I have no clue, but I'm doing it.

I spent the entire day of the ORC fishing with a barbie rod and I have to tell you, it was the most fun I've had fishing in a long time.  I can't see why that rod should be any different.

I have one of those poles and they are perfect for those tough to hook, super shy, twitchy big trout you find in little out of the way ponds,  and oh so much fun when you get hooked up...................

Yeah that's an ice hole rod. Used to have 3 of them for ice fishing in Michigan.

Oops on the mini pole.....And note it still had factory line....
Casts and reels in decent.... Slow day fishin only had nibbles.... Went to grab pole outta holder to rebait after lunch.... Dropped pole with bail set to unwind.....
Pole sank.... Line still on water surface... Frantically paddled grabbed line.... Figured pull line till rod and reel come up deal w line mess..... WRONG!
Apparently from factory they DO NOT tie the line to the spool!!!! :(

But hey I recovered all my line and my weights plus hook.....
