I just signed up to NWKA.   No that this one, the other one....

http://www.northwestkayakangling.co.uk/

They've been around since May of 2011 and have a couple hundred members from the North West of England.  For some reason Google tried sending me there when I tried to find our NWKA on a computer I never logged into before.

I think I'm going to introduce myself and see if I can get some members there to trade me some stickers or T-shirts (if they have any).

We need to find some sponsors so we can get an all expense paid trip over there for an NWKA vs NWKA fishing competition.   :)

I have gone there ,introduced myself, and linked them up to our ORC 2012.The few posts I explored were kinda fun...but they sure do talk funny. Was scratching my head several times trying to figure out what they were talking about.Whew...........made my brain hurt.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Hi guys.

My name is Chris and I am the owner of the "other" NWKA in the UK. Surprised you guys found it as I recently converted the forum software and its not indexed at the moment, still needs a lot of work...

Anyways, nice to know we have a twin site across the pond, the fishing on our coast is not as wonderful as on yours but if anyone of you ever visits the UK please feel free to join us on a fishing trip, just bring your rods and reels I have a spare kayak or two you guys could use, I am sure we could sort out some accommodation or a camping trip out for you guys.

Ill definitely check in here often and see what you guys get up to and perhaps post a report from our shores, hopefully one day I'll come and sample some of your great Sturgeon and Salmon fishing you guys have over there.

Until then, tight lines!
