Had a sweet trip yesterday with Ron at Groundswell.   We launched out at Pacific City and he showed me all the ropes and helped out with my general kayak knowledge questions.  I got skunked at ORC but we put that to rest and I caught two lingcod yesterday!  Those were my first lings ever, one was a 26" and the other 32.5".  The second one was a beast and I was cursing the whole time :)

Surf?  whats that?  There was, and I'm not making this up, NO SURF! period!  At best it looked like the wake make by a small boat.  Looks at the PC web cam right now and you can still see it.
