Just wondering if anyone is headed out at this time. I prefer to not fish alone if possible.

I have some non-fishing friends heading out today, they will report back if the King run is going up the river. I'll let you know if it's on, or if Kings are schooling up at the river mouth. My guess is the run will wait for the first decent rains about the middle or end of next week, but I've timed it wrong in the past. I'm on standby and watching conditions for the next week or so.

If I had the vacation time I'd join you.  The bottom fishing at Hobuck was a ton a fun when I was there almost a month ago.

Can't even go out over Labor Day though.  SWMBO has to go to a wedding, and they said no kids allowed (WTF, over  ???).  So I've got all 3 kids to myself for a couple days.  Given that the youngest is still crawling that would make it hard to hit the coast for fishing.
