So here's one more victory pic, because it was short lived. I went out Sun at the mouth of the Siletz, total zoo. There were a few healthy fish plucked by bankers right at the tide change on the shallows off the south point of the spit with spinners. Nada for me.

I made it out today and the water has definitely gotten colder, chilling the action too. I paddled from DB to the mouth of the Siletz and back, not one takedown. Looked like some nice kings running on the bottom in 90' but no takers. I won't try and access the Siletz from DB again, not enough time to poke around up there before I had had to turn south.

Getting a plan together for tomorrow, but I know it's going to involve a river and an anchor.

Love the pics and the report! Bet you enjoyed every ounce of those salmon.

Just got back from the mouth of the Siletz. Saw 4 or 5 more taken just outside the south point. No bites for me before the incoming washed me up the bay. I dropped a pot too because I usually don't and I got skunked there also. Crabbing is awesome on the outside but the bays are still warming up.
