Trip was through Ketchikan Kayak Co. they supply the kayaks and camping gear all you bring is your fishing gear and sleeping bag.
I will get you guys more info about next years trip, if it happens. Traditionally it has only been offered two weeks with six fishermen per week trip ... so only twelve per year. If you are serious about wanting to go next year PM me and we can talk. Right now no trips have been opened for 2013 yet.

Outstanding! I thought you must have been out of Ketchikan for all those points shown. The pictures and report have me dreaming of more saltwater adventures, and some Southeast explorations. Alaskan waters beckon.
Good for you. Always glad to see a satisfied visitor.

That ling is amazing.   Looks like your in kayak anglers heaven.
I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

Ok all you 'someday' people, now is your chance.  This same trip is now set for 2013, Aug 28 - Sept 1, and Sept 1 - Sept 5.

If there is enough interest we can make the Aug 28 trip a NWKA only trip. That'd be awesome. Capacity is six people. Cost is $1500 per person and we provide everything except your sleeping bag, reels, basic tackle, and hotel.  Its an easy 1.75 hr direct flight from Seattle, and you spend one night on each end in town. This is a great trip as you can see from the post above, in an untouched fishing location.

This trip is not back up on our site yet, but I wanted to post it here in the mean time since the dates are now firm, and some of you have already expressed interest.  Let me know if you have any questions or want to save your spot. Should be epic again in 2013, and you've put it off long enough, so we hope you join us for an unforgettable trip.

I would do that!  Got any revos?

I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.
