I am thinking about the area right off of old pacific hwy... but I have thought it would be cool to float that river in a yak.  Have you done that before?

We'll just say I've dabbled... It's an easy, but short drift with lots of places to stop and fish. Just need one car to put in on the DOD property, and one to take out at Luhr Beach. No good reason to do that drift right now, but I'll go play out there with you when the kings start up again in 2013. Should do a "practice run" in June or so to see what your up against.
