Any reason you're only looking for a sport? you might Consider a Revo 11 or even an outback. There are one of each on Portland Craigslist.

I like that it's small, light weight and a decent price. Thanks, I'll check out that one on Craigslist.

Sports have a rudder.  It is a... how do I say this... compact boat.  I am an average sized guy (5'9'') and I had to have the pedals adjusted to the farthest away I could get them, and even then they felt too close.  If that's what you want, go for it!  When it comes to a small boat though, I would take the Revo 11 any day.

I have a sport and I love it. I'm 5'11 and have no problem moving around and fishing in all kinds of waters

I'm only 5'8" so the sport would probably fit me perfectly.

I'm 6'-1", 180#.  Started with the Sport because it was light weight but was a little tight for peddling but OK.  Moved to the larger Outback with lots of room but sold it as I could not deal with the increase weight of the boat.  The Outback was a great fishing platform but putting it on the truck was always a hassle. So decided to sell it.
Finally, for me, bought the Revo 11.  Leg length space is longer than the Sport, shorter than the Outback and weighs about 50# +/-.  The hull design is much different which allows more speed & glide, nimble little yak, ample space for 'stuff' but I do miss the side trays of the Spot & Outback.
Remember, every boat is a trade off.  Good reason to have more than one.

Thanks guys for all the feedback, so my two options now are the Sport first and Revo 11 second.  The weight of the kayak will be a big influence as my Xterra rack sits pretty high.  Lifting the kayak up and taking it down will be a challenge if I went with anything heavier.

Yakima Boatloader.  It makes loading a kayak onto the top of a truck too easy.  I've been using it for several years and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Keep in mind that the short length of the sport could be an issue if you're wanting to use it in bigger water. The Ocean, Columbia, etc. It's always a great idea to demo both, if you haven't already.

I'd like to have the boatloader but it would require me to change my entire roof rack :(

Eric used to put his PA14 on top of his rig with one.
