That's a pretty neat solution.  I like how you leveraged the rod holders as your base.   

I've thought about an outrigger kit for trips when I want to be able to stand and fly cast, this is an interesting alternative.

I do love all the creative rigging options that kayak anglers come up with.

The rod holders have a small slip play when connected into the base mount plus I can see some flex when the outriggers are doing their job.  They serve the purpose.  Just need a cheap DIY platform for standing.
