Winter Blues?

What do you guys do when the weather turns and the rains come down?

Fish?

Fish and hunt.  My Seattle Sombrero empowers me. Oh, and I work more so I have to work less in the summer.

Wear more layers.

Get wet

If you browse through the reports during the winter months over the last few years, you will find pictures of people bundled up in many layers on their kayaks getting their bendo on.

I bank fish, too. Desolate canyons with dripping moss. Goes right on into April.

Most everything that you can fish in a kayak gets frozen over during the winter months.  I switch to wading and bank fishing for Steelhead.

Also, there IS blackmouth fishing.  I have suited up in polar-grade immersion wear and tried this.  Never had any success.  But, that will change this year
