Okay, so I've been lurking around this site for a couple weeks ever since my friend 'Backroads Baddler' introduced me to it and kayak fishing in general.  I'm an avid fisherman, mostly the local lakes & rivers with the occasional salt chuck expedition.  I've been doing a ton of 'research' and dreaming of one day (soon hopefully) getting my own yak  ;D I currently have an aluminum but would do anything to get rid of it for an SOT fish slayin' machine. I love this sport! I'm looking for something 13 ft or shorter as I'm a smaller statured dude and need something versatile enough to get to the hidden honey holes. The only person i think that would object would be my better half as I'd never be home and it's going to be hard to explain why we're using our relics of a washer & dryer but there's a shiny new toy in the shop.  I've learned a ton of info and  really looking forward to getting out sometime soon!! Love the site guys and glad to be a part if it.

Cheers!!
