Kayak Fishing 101 and other Next Adventure Events

Just a quick heads up on a few events we have coming up in the next few weeks (or specifically one really busy week)

On Thursday November 15th at 7pm Next Adventure will be holding a Kayak Fishing 101 clinic at the Paddlesports Center. Want to learn about fishing productively and safely through the winter, come on down. Want to see how much stuff you can possibly bolt to a Hobie (looking at you Rawkfish), Swing by. Want to socialize with other NWKA members and eat pizza and drink free beer? yeah we've got that too.

Additionally on Wednesday the 14th the owner of Cedar Boat Works will be giving a presentation at 7pm on hand building wooden stand up paddleboards. His results are amazing works of art that paddle really well!

Finally Friday the 16th is the PDX Kayaker Film Fest at the Melody Ballroom. This year is the 12th annual film festival highlighting amateur videos from paddlers all over the Northwest. A great opportunity to get out and see how the whitewater community lives, catch some free videos and support American Whitewater.

I'm thinking we just need to have an area in that new space of the Paddle Sports Center for people to camp in during that week. 

In addition to Kayak fishing 101, Jammer is going to give a short presentation on the Hobie Fishing World Championships.

hi this is Ed, i was hoping to come Thursday nite to meet some of the guys that helped me .when i was buying my outback,but ive got my grandkids that nite .and as much as i would like the pizza and beer ,not sure about my grand kids,thanks for all that helped me out.all week ive been rigging my new outback and was hoping to talk to the pros ,owell next month ill make it ,  Ed

By the way, in addition to Kayak Fishing 101 and Hobie Fishing Worlds, we'll also be chatting a bit about winter-specific fisheries that can keep you busy for the next few months if you don't mind the rain and/or snow.
