I'm finishing up my drift anchors but still lack the actual anchors and some hardware. I can not find small lead pyramids (i.e. 10#) in Salem or mid-valley. I'm coming up mid-week to look and also pick up remaining cleats and hardware. Any suggestions?

Chris

The Wholesale Sports in Salem should have pyramid anchors.

Hey Chris. Fishermans has them most of the time. I might be able to check the one in delta park for you this week. What day are you coming up? You could also shoot Insayn a pm to see if he might have any extra supply. His are pretty...

I'm coming on Tuesday or Wednesday. I need to hit Fisherman's anyway. I can check Wholesale Sports in Salem, too, but I have only seen big ones there before. Should have looked again when I was there the other day. Thanks all.

Insayn smelts his own?? This was supposed to have been done in time for springer fishing up here. Of course, I ended up doing zero springer fishing this year. Once I get it all done I will put up some pictures. I'm up to three kayaks now and want to get them all rigged the same.

He does.  He makes two sizes and they're designed really well.  There are probably some pics around this site of them, but I can't look right now.  Three sides instead of four, the point is flattened to make them more kayak friendly, and the top is depressed to give the edges more dig.  I have his ~11.5# size.

I'm so out of stock right now, I don't even have an anchor for myself.   Sold it to get someone else on the water.
Now I'm not sure when I will be pouring more, as I totally dicked up my mold this spring experimenting with a new idea.

This winter and spring I'm going to be focusing on a lot of upgrades to my truck and camper so I won't be fiddling with them for a bit, sorry!

Thanks for the props though, Rawky and Noah.

I have 2 of these 12 lb anchors if anyone is interested. I can ship, not sure how much it'll cost to ship it. $25 each.

Well, I got 'em. Fisherman's at Delta Park and right next to Dick's. You guys live in a sporting goods paradise. Now I can finally finish this up. Couldn't help walking every aisle of the fishing tackle department and filling a basket with all kinds of crap.
