Hello!

I've been thinking about starting a thread like this for a while, but wanted to make sure our fearless leader PolePole was OK with it. Well, I received the green light so here we are!

This thread is for posting stuff that you have that you are interested in trading. Given the current state of the economy, some of us could benefit in engaging in the ancient art of bartering. I'm sure we all have some gear we never use, or duplicate (even triplicate) of something that you could part with to gain something else that might be more useful to you.

Make a straight up trade offer,  or sweeten the deal by throwing in some extras (or a little cash), and have some fun. You can post fishing stuff, kayak stuff, tools, clothing, etc. Hopefully we can share some of our cool stuff with each other in the spirit of comradery and sportsmanship!

Thanks!
Paul

Great idea for a thread. I have a lot of stuff that I don't use and should probably pass along. I was considering having a place setup at next years ORC similar to how Steelheadr liquidated his fishing stuff last year. Does anyone have some stuff they would want to get rid of or trade? The good thing about doing a bunch of this at the ORC is you wouldn't have to ship anything. Is anyone interested in selling or trading anything at the ORC this year??

I like the idea of an ORC swap meet. I'm sure I have stuff to bring as well Michael.

Keep posting your stuff up here, include pics too if you want to sell now. If you don't sell it here, bring it to the swap meet at ORC 2013

I was going to put my boat up on Craigslist this summer but got waaaay too
busy. I haven't considered putting it up for trade, but why not!

What I have is a 12'8 Valco aluminum boat. I've done quite a bit of work to
this boat since I picked it up 5 years ago. Here's what it has:

-No leaks/damage to any of the seams
-4 feet wide at the widest point
-The interior is painted with rust proof marine paint
-Three Classic High Back Wise Fishing Boat Seat, (in red, charcoal, and
white) (paid ~$80 a pop). They are installed on treated wood planks that
are bolted to the boat benches. The seats all swivel.
-Boat comes with trailer.
-Trailer has 2 year old tires (with spare)
-New 2" hitch (welded to the frame)
-New front wheel assembly
-All new wiring done in 2012 with new submersible tail lights
-Stability bars with PVC covers and reflective tape
(Excuse the silly picture. It's the only one I had to show the back angle.)

I'm also looking include my 1969 Johnson 2 stroke 6 hp motor. I wish I had
a picture with the cowling off so you can see the inside, but If I didn't
tell you it was a '69 you'd think the thing was made 5 years ago. This
little motor runs like a champ. Unfortunately I have not used it in over 3
years as I typically use this boat on lakes with an electric trolling
motor.

I fired it up over the summer. It fires and sputters then turns off. It
needs a good carb cleaning as the spark plugs are brand new. I also
refinished the cowling. It has a grey primer marine base coat with a new
glossy red paint job (to match the boat). I also designed my own decals to
give it a new look. The motor also comes with the original Johnson fuel
canister (5 gallons), a spare 5 gallon tank, and new fuel lines.

I'm really not sure what I'm looking to trade this for, so hit me up with
what ya got if you're interested in it. Fishing gear, kayaks, etc. I am planning on taking some better
pictures with the boat on the water and post it up on CL when the weather warms
up if no takers.

Thanks!

I have a couple Traxxas RC trucks I'd be willing to trade. They are both electric Traxxas vehicles.

The first one is a Traxxas Stampede 2wd Monster truck. It comes with 2 batteries and a 2.4 GHz radio. The only modification is the installation of a Traxxas Wheelie Bar and a switch from the factory AM radio to the 2.4GHz digital radio. This will pull wheelies very easily hence the bar. It is very tough and will jump almost anything you can put in front of it.

The second truck is a Traxxas Rustler VXL. It also comes with a 2.4 GHz radio and 1 battery. I have put it back to stock condition as I got it as a rolling chassis. It has brand new Pro-Comp wheels and tires, new Rustler body, new Traxxas steering servo.

Also included can be a second set of smaller wheels and tires for the Rustler and a new ESC (speed controller) for the Stampede.
I was originally going to sell these on Craigslist, but this is a trading thread. I'm looking for archery targets (foam blocks or ideally a slightly used 3D Deer), an anchor set up for my Revo, or???
