Hey everyone,

I got a new little fuel efficient Geo Metro and I am looking at putting together a rack system for it so I can get around with the yak. I am looking for used thule or yakima towers or if anyone on here makes custom racks at a better deal I would be interested.

Thule towers are 400xt Aero

Yakima is Q towers with Q 66 clip and stretch kit.

I have been trolling craigslist but haven't had to much luck.

Thanks
Anthony

Try Re-Rack on Sandy BLVD. in Portland.  They should be able to hook you up with all the stuff you need.

Rack Attack has a location next to the Timber's stadium and a satellite store here in the Next Adventure Paddlesports Center at 7th and Washington in inner southeast Portland. They do new and used as well, great guys, they have set up both of my cars really well.

Check REI's calender for the local store close to you.  Look for the "Garage Sale" or "Used Equipment Sale".  My local store just had their quarterly event yesterday and they had tons of roof rack pieces and parts for a fraction of the normal price.  Just another place to try and check out..

Let me check my garage. We have at least two extra rack systems laying around.

I have a yakima rack with the q-stretch kit for 2 door cars.  I used it on my 2 door toyota delux pickup, i don't have the pick up anymore.  you would still need some saddles of some sort  i have the landing pads and keys for the locks.  pm me if interested

I just want to poke fun at the Geo :P  How cute!  lol

When I was looking for racks, I was surprised by how many parts I found at the local "auto salvage."  Picked up everything for cheap.
