Does anyone have an old transducer cable laying around from an old Eagle unit? I've got a good Eagle 245 head unit but the cable is bad. I would think most of the eagles around the same age would work. This is for one of our HOW boats that I'd like to add it to. Thanks.

The unit looks like this.

Hey Noah,

I did a few searches for you to see if it's worth buying a new transducer cable for the unit, or if it's better to just buy a new fishfinder if the transducer is too expensive.

According to this site: http://fishfinderparts.com/Eagle/seafinder-245-ds.html the part number of the transducer for this fishfinder is: HST-WSU   Part #106-48.

I didn't look further than Amazon for a price, but Amazon has Lowrance HST-WSU 200 KHZ Transom Mount Transducer new for $65.41.

Thanks!

Thanks, Paul. I searched around and found that I could get either a cable or a whole new FF for about 50 bucks. I was hoping to only spend 10-20 bucks at most, since our HOW anglers don't really need to have one. However, I realized on Saturday it would have been helpful for our guy to have one, just so he could get a better understanding of the bottom and where he was fishing.

I wonder if you call Eagle if you can buy used ones that people send back with their units for warranty work. They've got to have some lying around.
