Slick anchor reel

I just wrapped up rigging my fish and dive for free dive spearing.  Needed a light weight anchor system.  Poking around Coastal Farm I found a perfect solution.  Rigged like a traditional kayak Columbia/Willamette anchor system without the float.

Nice.  I like how it seems small.  How much does one of those run?

It was 22 bucks at Coastal Farm and Ranch. Spendy compared to your average cord winder but its at least half as bulky. That spool has 150' of 7mm trawl line.  I would say its moderately "rugged.  You are not going to crank up a 10lb anchor from 100ft, but it does work very well to keep the line organized.

Very cool. Wobbler has a really slick reel too. Hopefully he'll share it here too.

I'd like to see how you mount it and deploy it. Was thinking about a reel for a light drift anchor.

It's better to have a line you can let go of and let it slip through your drift anchor set up. You don't want to have to turn around and try and cut a line. I have one for the tarpon you can try out sometime if you want.
