Hmmmmm.  I found out that my wife and kids are not coming with now so you can scratch my 4 guests.  We were all excited for a family camping trip, but the weather isn't looking the best (40% chance of rain).  We didn't want their first camping experience in a tent to be in cold rainy weather.

Ah well, I guess I can drown my sorrows in Ninkasi ;D   Thanks Ninkasi and thank you PNW!

One more thing to remind those outta-staters that you will need an Oregon Invasive Species Permit if your kayak is over 10 foot long.  These are usually available at any fishing license agent that has the printer.

I have a quick question. How big is the camping area we will be in?

I have a 12x12 tent which I was going to bring due to having the family with.  Now since my wife is concerned about the chances for rain and the kids getting a bad taste for camping on their first trip, it will just be me.  I have a smaller 3 person tent as well, but not nearly as weatherproof or comfortable.  I would prefer the 12X12 but don't want to take up a huge chunk of real estate just for me if there isn't much room.

Thanks for the input.

-Craig

It's hard to say.  Last year we had half the people and it seemed like there was tons of room.  This year it will likely be a bit crowded.  From what I remember, it is a nice big group tent area.  However, my memory only includes about half the tents.
