The Kraken and I are jumping on late in the game but we want to help out.
Right now our only responsibilities are to get PolePole and the winners kayak safely to the event.
Please let us know how we can contribute to the feast and or festivities other than a chest of brews.
(that goes without saying)
We feel privileged to be involved and are lookng forward to meeting you folks and seeing friends from past adventures.

CBY  - You're right.  This is gonna be a good time.  Glad to see we got a bunch of folks showing up.  Bring along an extra fish attitude adjuster just in case I whiff at the drawing.  I'd like to trade or otherwise wrangle one from you, if you have one.  Thanks -

Alan

You obviously didn't read the part where a keg o' Rogue Dead Guy Ale is being provided at the festivities.  We'll drink your chest of brews on Friday night.

I figure we'll wait until the ride back to camp after the tourney to determine what is needed for the Fish Taco Fest.  We'll fill the gaps!

Road trip with the Bridgeport boys!!!  I can hardly wait.  Hmmm ... might have to get some Bridgeport Beer ... http://www.bridgeportbrew.com/ .  The Bridgeport Blue Heron was one of my original favorites some 20+ years ago.

Picked up the T13 for the event today too.  Things are coming together nicely.

Allen  I think you might like Bridgeport's Hop Czar.  An Imperial IPA readily found around here in six and twelve packs.

Yup, I probably would.  There weren't a lot of IPA's 20 years ago, and I didn't even know what one was back then.  I was just musing this week about the original Thomas Kemper Beer.  Nowadays they are know for their rootbeer, but back then they had this ale that had a hint of blueberries.  I distinctly remember partaking in it on my 21 run. That might be the only thing I remember from that night.  I also drank a lot of Maritime Pacific.  Good to see they are still around, there used to be this alehouse downtown that I went to just to get some MP.  Ah the memories.

Bring me a sixer of the Hop Czar Brian?  Please please please?

Oh man, that stuff is magic in a bottle.  Lately my fridge has been seeing a lot of that and their double red, Kingpin.

While we are in beer bliss I have to give some love back to the Nor Cal guys ... Had some Racer 10 this weekend that was FANTASTIC ...
Thinking about putting together a collection of some of my favorite Imperial IPA's for next weekend. Never can have too much good beer =)

Do you actually call it Racer 10 instead of Racer X.  I've always called it Racer X.  Hmmm ...

BTW, Bear Republic is kicking down a keg of Racer 5 for the Albion Open at the end of July.

Well, I thought it was the Imperial version of Racer 5, so I guess 10 would make more sense than "X".  But why didn't they call it Racer 10 then?

There's only one true Racer X.

Slight change of subject... Even though this will be my third go round at the ORC, I'm not sure I know all of the returning faces yet alone new ones. Since I have a real had time putting faces with names would it be too geeky if i brought name badges so we don't have to be wondering what the name was of the guy we just talked to was (We could also put our screen names on them)?

Second, I think my wife wants to bring a batch of her chocolate chip cookies for Saturday night. She will be attending but we're staying n LC. She has also volunteered to help with any pic downloads.
