And for Noah and polepole, are you guys complaining about the first generation tropos or the three layer T3 fabric?  I was under the impression that Hydrus was just rebranded T3.

I was speaking about the first generation Tropos.

Smear anti-perspirant on your feet.
Are you serious?

I'm not complaining. I love my Kokatat T3 Super Nova Angler.

It works under your arms, and it will keep your feet freshly scented.  Worth a try.

Well, my Kokatat Hydrus 3L supernova Angler arrived yesterday via UPS.
Pretty big on my frame!
I wore thick layers, adjusted waist, wrist/ankle cuffs and burped the baby...I need the medium.
Hate to say that as I'd like this suit to be the 'one'.
I appreciate the input regarding this topic and more to follow with medium suit.

here is the link to info that I had found about Hydrus 3L being the final T3 material with a lifetime warranty and new name:

http://www.drysuit-repair.com/wp/2013/02/kokatats-hydrus-3l-the-origin-story/

I don't know if the info is totally correct but it sounds like the T3 fabric was being improved year-by-year and what it had become by 2012 is what the Hydrus 3L is today.

it almost makes it sound like early T3 might be less breathable compared to later T3...not sure...not enough data.

adding to the sizing data: I am 6', 185 and got a supernova angler T3 earlier this year in 'L' and it fits perfectly- plenty of room for baselayers but definitely not too big...

cheers, roger

Well y'all, my medium Hydrus 3L Supernova APS has arrived and fits nicely.
Very glad I sent the large back and got this med.
The wrists are a bit tite but I think I can loosen them a bit. Removal was the problem.
The 'stocking feet' are nice and plenty roomy for this size 10.
I can still wear 2mm neoprene boots over the sf.
Suit is very comfortable and secure feeling!
I could use it here as it was about 52 degrees with much rain today and water temp is in the high 50's
Very stoked !

Congrats on the new suit! When I got my dry suit I was so excited I wore it around the house. I wanted to wear it to bed but the girlfriend didn't seem too keen on that idea.
I have the Supernova Angler suit and I really like it. I went with the Xl and I'm happy that I opted for extra room because I don't run as hot as I had once thought.
Having nothing to compare this dry suit to other than some PVC waders I used to have I would say it breathes fine for me. I have not experienced the sweaty feet that some have described...I wear some heavy socks paired with my old scuba booties and I have no complaints.
I will say that the zippers aren't  awesome but they probably need some cleaning and a good lubing.

Just thought I'd add my review on the Super Nova.

Anyway, I bet you're stoked to have the suit!

I received my suit in the mail today. Same suit as yours, Hydrus supernova angler size medium. I'm wearing it right now and it feels great. I am definitely at the maximum for height on a medium. I am 6'0" about 150 lbs.  The only thing I really dont like about the suit is the color. I hate yellow! It looks like a star trek uniform. But there were no other options at outdoorplay.  I have a pair of sandals to wear over the feet until i get some booties. The gaskets are a bit tight also, but I'm sure they will loosen up. My hands are starting to tingle as im typing.
