I am about to order the koke tropos supernova.
I am wondering about the size.
Are the 'suits' generous in construction?
One would think they'd be generous as layering is the rule.
Thank you for help.

Yeah, they run to the generous side.  What are your dimensions?

I am not a medium or a large.
I am concerned about the chest and inseam.
The size chart for medium chest states: 40-42
I am 42+.
Inseam states: 30-32''
I am 32''.
My height is 5'11'' and weigh 160 lbs. which is in the Medium range.
I don't want something too big.

I'm in a similar situation as you in that according to specs, I'm close on both a L and an XL.  I opted for the XL.  Is it a little big?  Yeah, a little.  Does it make a difference?  Hmmm ... you'll  likely have a PFD wrapped around it snugged down anyways.  And remember, you'll be sitting down so a little extra room in the legs/thighs/butt is a good thing IMO.  Do you have a Kokatat dealer near you that you can try them on?

I was pretty darn close to your exact specs when I got my suit and went with a Large.  I'm really glad I did.  Once you burp out the air it fits like a glove.  If you need to layer up heavily, you still have room left to move naturally.

Too big won't be a problem once you burp it as long as the cuffs seal.

Yeah, I understand having extra room while sitting down is the better option.
I have no stores or shops that carry drysuits to cross reference size.
I know the large will work...
How generous is the chest in Koke suits?

Outdoor Play was one of the 1st ORC sponsors and has treated us very well over the years.  You can't go wrong ordering from them.

I'm about 10 lbs heavier than you but otherwise am similar dimensions and at the line between M and L.  I went with a medium of the T3 Swift Entry and it fits me just fine.  A relief zipper would have been nice but the price was too good to pass up--it was on closeout from Outdoorplay at the time, which also forced my size selection.  I don't think you can do wrong with either size, but unless you had a reason to do otherwise like I did, it may be best to go with the large.

Okay y'all, I ordered Kokatat Hydus 3L supernova Angler from Outdoor Play.
I ordered the large and if it is huge I'll exchange it on a trip over to Pland.
I changed to the Angler model as it is guaranteed for life!
Thank you all for your input and I'll post when the dry suit arrives.
And, I got a great deal with the 15% discount!!
Thank you Outdoor Play!

That warranty is awesome.  I sent mine in and they found problems I'd never know to look for, and sent me a brand new replacement.

cjb:    How tall are you? I am also trying to decide between a M and L. I am 6'0" and only 155. I know the medium will fit me width wise, but want to be sure it is tall enough.

I'm 5'11" on a good day, and I feel that I'm pushing the length on the medium.  If you're 6', you'd probably be better served by a large.

I'm 6'1" and about 165 lbs and the large is a nice fit. Enough room for plenty of layers but there isn't a ton of extra material floating around like my XL palm suit.
