I wonder how hard it would be to patch the drive well.  Might make a good river kayak.  I wish I was near you, I would have taken it.

I wonder how hard it would be to patch the drive well.  Might make a good river kayak.  I wish I was near you, I would have taken it.

The crack can be repaired but since this was warrantied he had to cut the whole drive well out of the kayak so it is now just scraps..

Hah. Im willing to give it a shot if someone has some good ideas. Spray foam doesnt sound too bad. I could fill the entire inside just in case it does leak. Unfortunately, the outback wont be much fun without the mirage drive, considering how hard it is to paddle. You could still fish a small lake or float down a river maybe.

Use it as a coffee table. Or figure out how to mount your laptop so you can sit inside the Outback and watch fishing videos. It will feel like you're really fishing...sort of.
