  Saw on FB that our Alaska members have caught a few king salmon for the derby. This will be the 1st time that has ever happened. Congratulations to our northern brethren. I'm sure they will be letting us know how they scored soon. Should be in the middle of the award ceremony right now.

  Way to go Alaskan's....

Woohoo!!!  Team NWKA lands both kayak fish! There were three other kayakers, two in the derby outside of five member Team NWKA.

Nope. Needed 23 pounds for 20th. Did get a nice pfd, pelican box, and Dry bag out of it.

How's the weather out there?  Seems like they broke records for most fish and best weather....Wish I wasn't at work wrenching on a plane right now!!

Weather is freaky good. March??? Hard to believe. Cheating today. Buddy with powerboat got skunked yesterday so helping. I have no clue from a powerboat. Haha. Oh well. My legs and back thank me.
