Mojo, great job!!  As far as dates, i think early October might be a great time to get an even better turn out.  (And an ass load more salmon.)

This is an idear that has real merit. We could tie it in like Rockfishtober or something.

I'd be up for a fall tourney too. Great idea.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Congratulations to the winners!

Way to go Mojo.  It sounds like it was a great tourney.

I am going to make the next one, I don't care what day it'll be on!  😠

Early October MayDay is kind of like having Christmas in July....I think it's a FANTASTIC date to consider!  Save those second and third place plaques for Salmon and have the UnMayDay in October 2016.  Same shirts. >:D

I'm catching all the curve balls, sliders and pepper balls your all throwing and I like having one in the spring so we're staying with the May Day being late May early June if the tides dictate it. We can do one in October in addition to the May Day but remember the more we have the thinner the prize pools get and a lot of us don't care about the prizes but there are some that do. As for the May Day date I'm going to look at this one more time for tides and if I can figure out how to do a pole I'll get some input.

Mojo and the crew put on a great event, well done indeed!

Nice to meet so many friendly anglers and share some great food and drink (wow, talk about some great cooking!) and I'll certainly plan for TBMD3.   Maybe throw a crab pot next time since I know my way around a little bit.

Would it be possible to have a team challenge teams vs team for team bragging rights and side bets in October? So we don't take sponsors away from the TBMD tournament . Just an idea.

You must have read my mind?
I'd like to get some ideas for a fall "chinook shaker" maybe a per guy $$ set donation and either buy a custom Nemrod's Rod for salmon ( if the donations are high enough) and a little for 2nd, 3rd, or split 50% to the top 3 then the rest go to HOW? Single longest or heaviest? Pick a weekend and give guys 2 days to fish with the exception of f'nminnowmagnet he only gets 2 hours  ;) and we could have a potluck somewhere Saturday night and prizes given out Sunday at 3-4 pm cut off for Sunday be like 2-3 ? Just a thought. As well as dates that work.
