Report: PC & Depoe Bay 3/6/11

Hell ya, that surf video is awesome! I thought you had that last one, until it stood all the way up and I thought no way is he going to make that now, and then the tumble! Sweet! Thanks for posting that, and nicely done down at Depoe as well.
I like the over-the-shoulder view, do you have a thread on how that's rigged up?

Thanks JATW!  Yeah, I'm going to put up a post in the Drillin' & Cuttin' board with all the rigging on my Revolution and I'll cover that mount in it as well. 

What was the swell height, interval and wind chop for that day?

I believe the forecast predicted 8 ft at 12 sec. dropping throughout the day to about 6.5 ft. with wind waves at 1-2 feet.  Winds were predicted to be a max at around mid-afternoon at 10 to 12 mph out of the NNW.  I would say that was spot-on for what we saw.

Rawk'n, I have a spare Cuda 168 head unit that I scored from Steelheadr at last years ORFC that  that I'll loan ya till ya save up the scratch to replace the one you just brok'd.

I hadn't even considered lashing down the drive unit but will now.  Would be nice to see some picks with clip releases of the best way.  Guess I got lucky at Depoe Bay last year.
