Hehe, I kinda thought the same thing, but since it's well past 3/8, i figured it had ran its course Anybody local wanna fish tomorrow?

Sorry, I should have started a new thread or added this to my "Where should I take my son" thread. Mea culpa.

I've got tennis at noon so probably won't fish Friday. Weather looks better Saturday.

Gentlemen I have some potentially good news for BG Lake. I've been checking the stocking reports going back 4 years for BG Lake and found that every year during the week preceding tax day BG lake is stocked with a few hundred big boys averaging anywhere from 1.5-6 lbs (sometimes bigger). Immediately following that stock (usually a week or two after), they bring in a few thousand more regualr 10-12 inchers. That being said, we are approaching that week (avatar pic is a 9 lb Rainbow from BG during tax week). I am planning on doing some fishing Saturday or Sunday (April 14-15) as historically I've done well for the big ones during that week. Anyone interested in joining me?

I am so there!!! Can't wait to get home and fish. I may have to wave a bug wand in one of these high Rocky Mountain streams to quell the thirst!
